Mirror Park Skate Park

Great family friendly park. Has skate park and childrens play area with slides etc. Dig friendly.

The park is great but there needs to be police patrolling because the kids have disgusting behaviour they spit and vandalised everywhere. I'm honestly shocked.

Quite a good area, park lights go out at 9:30. There is a playground near by and toilets open 6am to 8pm. Grandie was new to this, but noticed mix of ages from about 5yo to Adult; all abilities, very well behaved and sharing the space.

Generally called Mirror Park, but this is a great skate park for all ages. Can get quite busy as its the only one in the area and parking can be a problem at times. Has a great oval with AFL goals, plenty of shade and seating with small playground

Hard to beat!Such a well thought out and well constructed skatepark.Smoothe transitions and an imaculate surface in a great location.It has something for all levels of skate boarding!And the public toilets are kept clean!

Full of skaters who help each other and are mindful of little and big kids alike learning to scoot.

Decent skatepark that needs lighting because it's usually full of scooter kids during the day time.of the 14 skate parks north of the river only two did not have lights, of which one is Mirror Park.It can currently be used until 7pm from October 1 to April 30, and until 5.30pm from May 1 to September 30. Kinross skate park can be used until 10pm every day.According to a Joondalup council report, the skate park is “catering to participation levels beyond its intended capacity, especially at peak times”.“This could lead to overcrowding and the risk of collision between younger, less experienced users and older users of the facility,” it said.It said while there were “clear benefits” to installing lights and increasing availability, this could also have a negative impact on neighbouring residents.The skate park opened in December 2012 and has attracted five petitions since, with a total of 202 signatures opposing lighting and 563 signatures requesting lighting.The City has also received 241 complaints, of which 89 per cent were from five residents, regarding noise, people using the skate park after hours and car headlights to light the park, and antisocial behaviour.However, the council report also noted if lighting was installed, this could mean a decline in lighting of the skate park by car headlights and a reduction in antisocial behaviour.It said “trying to establish whether the benefit outweighs the impacts, or vice-versa” would be a difficult decision and so it was important the City consult with the community.

Very family and pet friendly park. Great skating and play area.

Great facility for kids, of all ages, on skateboards and scooters. Can get very busy and crazy.I still don't get how many children are playing unsupervised during school hours in term time.

Good layout but can get a little crowded at times. A park for adults to exercise while kids are playing
